The functions and purposes of the City Planning Commission are to consider the plan, design, location, removal, relocation and alteration of any building or structure within the city; the location, relocation, widening, extension and vacation of streets, highways, playgrounds and other public places; the approval of plats for the subdivision of land; the zoning of the City for any lawful purpose or purposes; and the review and approval of conditional uses, similar uses and development plans.
