The Director of Service is hereby authorized to retain off-duty members of the Police Department for the purpose of regulating traffic during excavation and repair of streets, tree lawns, park strips or sidewalks.
Where deposits from contractors are required for payment for such service, Section 921.05 shall be complied with.
