703.02 PERMIT FEE AND CONDITIONS.
The Mayor, at his or her discretion and upon payment by the applicant for a permit provided for in Section 703.01, of a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00), to the Director of Finance for each such permit requested, may grant such permit for a period not to exceed six months at any one time. A conviction for a violation of any ordinance of the City governing the place for which the permit was issued shall be sufficient cause for the forfeiture of such permit.
No permit shall be issued to any person of disreputable character nor to any person to whom a permit formerly issued has been forfeited, as above provided. Such permit shall bear the name of the person to whom granted, the name of the street and number of the building wherein such music is to be employed, the terms upon which the same is granted and a clause specifying the conditions of forfeiture. The permit shall be signed by the Mayor and bear his or her seal and shall not be transferred. Such permit shall continue in force for six months unless forfeited as herein provided. The Mayor may, notwithstanding the provisions of this section, issue a permit for one entertainment without the payment of a fee as herein provided.
