(a) No person shall place, or cause to be placed, any building material, vehicle or obstruction of any kind, within seven feet of any fire hydrant, except as otherwise provided in Section 452.03(d) of the Traffic Code.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. The penalty shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
