608.02 FALSE OR SHORT WEIGHTS.

(a) No person, in buying or selling any property, or directing or permitting an employee to do so, shall make or give a false or short weight or measure.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
