3-1-16: SAFETY REVIEW REQUIRED:
   A.   It is unlawful for any person or entity to engage in and/or operate any occupation, trade, profession or business without first receiving an occupancy permit from the local Fire Inspector authorized to inspect such a business as designated by the Uinta County Fire and Ambulance Emergency Services Board.
   B.   The Fire Inspector may require any such person or entity to correct any practice or make any changes to a location where business is conducted before a permit may be issued. The inspection herein shall not necessarily be limited to fire hazards, but can include ADA compliance, ingress and egress safety and/or any danger to property, health and/or safety the inspector observes.
   C.   The Fire Inspector may issue a temporary permit with appropriate deadlines at the Inspector's discretion, wherein a temporary business license may be issued. It is unlawful for any business to continue after the issuance of a temporary permit without the consent of the Fire Inspector.
   D.   This Safety Review in no way does, nor intends to, constitute a guarantee or insurance of fire safety of a business location, and the Town of Lyman does not indemnify any business, person or entity by passage or application of this chapter.
   E.   This chapter is Effective November 1, 2022 for all new business license applications. (Ord. 2022-04, 10-20-2022)
