12-3-3: UNCERTAINTY OF DISTRICT BOUNDARIES:
Where uncertainty exists as to the boundaries of any district as shown on any zoning map or part thereof, the following rules shall apply:
   A.   Follow Street, Alley Or Lot Lines: Where such boundaries are indicated as approximately following street lines, alley lines, or lot lines, such lines shall be construed to be such boundaries.
   B.   Unsubdivided Property; Zone Divides Lot: In the case of unsubdivided property and where a zone boundary divides a lot, the locations of such boundaries, unless the same are indicated by dimensions, shall be determined by the use of a scale appearing on such zoning map.
   C.   Vacation Of Street Or Alley: Where a public street or alley is officially vacated, the zoning regulations applicable to abutting property on each side of the centerline shall apply up to the centerline of such vacated street or alley on each respective side thereof.
   D.   Unclassified Streets Or Alleys: Areas of dedicated streets or alleys other than those designated on the zoning map as being classified in one of the districts provided in this title shall be deemed unclassified. (1987 Code § 17.12.030)
