A. Responsibility Of Owner: It shall be the responsibility of all property owners to maintain and repair all water service lines and connections running from the town's curb valve box to, and onto, their property.
B. Notice Of Leak Or Disrepair: The town shall immediately notify owners of any leak or other disrepair in the water service line as soon as it is discovered, and the property owner shall commence repair the same as soon as possible, at their sole expense.
C. Permit Required For Repair Work: Any and all repair work done by private individuals in repairing water mains located within the streets of the town shall be done only after obtaining a permit to do the same from the town.
D. Temporary Shutdown: At the sole discretion of the town of Lyman public works director, the town may disconnect service to the location requiring repair at any time until the repair is successfully and lawfully completed to the satisfaction of the public works director. (Ord. 2009-12, 12-17-2009)
