It is unlawful for any person or entity to uncover, open, use, alter, disturb or connect to the town's water system with any line or fixture on any premises unless that person or entity, or their agent, has secured a permit for such installation and complied with the provisions of this chapter. The town, at its sole discretion, may require the installation of individually specified equipment, fixtures, pipe and/or other material, and may dictate the location, placement and length of the pipes, including the entire length of the subject property, as a condition of the granting of the permit. All costs of and incidental to the restoration, installation and connection shall be borne by the owners or their agent. (1987 Code § 13.04.240; amd. Ord. 2019-09, 12-5-2019)
