A. Prohibited Explosives; Exception: It is unlawful to store or keep any dynamite, nitroglycerin or other explosives other than gunpowder in any storeroom or building or on any premises within the town limits. A limit of five (5) pounds of gunpowder may be stored in sealed metal containers.
B. Gunpowder, Permit Required: Any person, firm or corporation who sells or stores gunpowder shall obtain a permit from the fire chief, who shall inspect the place where the gunpowder is kept. (1987 Code § 8.08.050)
C. Penalty: A violation of this section constitutes a class A misdemeanor punishable as set forth in subsection 1-4-1A1 of this code. (Ord. 2012-11, 1-17-2013)
