7-1-10: INTERFERING WITH FIRE DEPARTMENT:
   A.   Entering Fire Station: No person shall be allowed to enter the fire station unless accompanied by a member of the fire department.
   B.   Performance Of Duties: No person shall interfere in any way with the fire department in the performance of its duties.
   C.   Use Of Apparatus: No person not a member of the fire department shall use any of the fire apparatus at fires or otherwise unless acting under orders of the commanding officer.
   D.   Drivers Hearing Alarm: Upon hearing an alarm of fire all drivers of vehicles shall take due warning and upon the approach of fire apparatus shall move promptly to the right curb and stop in order to leave clear the center of the street.
   E.   Following Fire Apparatus: Vehicles shall not follow fire apparatus nearer than one full block and shall not proceed to any point within one full block of the fire.
   F.   Driving Over Fire Hose: Vehicles shall not be driven over the fire hose or other apparatus.
   G.   Prohibited Parking: Vehicles shall not be parked within fifteen feet (15') of any fire hydrant or before the entrance of any theater, hall, or other building in which large public assemblages are held.
   H.   False Alarm: No person shall knowingly give a false alarm other than those for test purposes given by the fire chief.
   I.   Interfering With Alarm System: No person shall interfere with any part of the fire alarm system unless so authorized by the fire chief of the fire department. (1987 Code § 2.20.100)
   J.   Penalty: A violation of this section constitutes a class A misdemeanor punishable as set forth in subsection 1-4-1A1 of this code. (Ord. 2012-11, 1-17-2013)
