A. Fire Companies: The fire department may consist of a hose company, a ladder company, a salvage company and such additional companies as may be authorized by vote of a majority of the members of the fire department, subject to the approval of the town council.
B. Bylaws: The fire department shall adopt suitable bylaws for the government of the department, such as are not in conflict with town ordinances or state and national laws, subject to the approval of the town council. These bylaws and all fire prevention ordinances shall be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place in each fire station and filed with the town clerk, together with any revisions and additions.
