§ 55.71 STREET AND SECURITY LIGHTING.
   (A)   Luverne Municipal Electric Utility designs, maintains and upgrades the street lighting systems on all city streets.
   (B)   Luverne Municipal Electric Utility recognizes the problems of light pollution and light trespass. All new lighting installations will be designed and built with this in mind. Installations will attempt to comply in as much as reasonably possible to International Dark Sky's recommendations.
   (C)   All new and replacement street light fixtures will be light-emitting diode (LED) type.
