§ 55.48 AUXILIARY POWER SUPPLY.

Where the customer provides for an auxiliary power supply, an adequately-sized “double-throw disconnecting device" must be provided to open all ungrounded conductors from the normal supply before connection is made to the emergency supply in accordance with the requirements of the latest edition of the National Electric Code.
