Parking spaces shall be in accordance with divisions (B) through (D) below.
(A) Number.
(1) Required number. The off-street parking spaces required for each use permitted by this chapter shall not be less than that found herein; provided that, any fractional parking space is computed as a whole space.
(2) Less than the required number. Fewer than the required number of off-street parking spaces found in the following table may be allowed with the written approval of the Building/Zoning Official when operational and/or statistical data supports the need for fewer parking spaces. An application requesting fewer than required spaces must be completed on a form provided by the Building/Zoning Official and must include supporting data.

NOTES TO TABLE: On-site parking facilities existing at the effective date of this chapter shall not subsequently be reduced to an amount less than required under this chapter for a similar new building or use. On-site parking facilities provided to comply with the provisions of this chapter shall not subsequently be reduced below the requirements of this chapter. The required parking or loading space shall not be used for storage of goods. | |
(B) Combination of uses. Where there is a combination of uses on a lot, the required number of parking spaces shall be the sum of that found for each use.
(C) Location of lot. The parking spaces required by this chapter shall be provided on the same lot as the use or where the exclusive use of such is provided on another lot not more than 500 feet radially from the subject lot within the same or less restrictive zoning district.
(D) Accessible spaces. Accessible parking spaces and passenger loading zones shall be provided in accordance with the state’s Building and Accessibility Codes.
