§ 33.51 DEFINITION.
   The term CURRENT SERVICE, as used in this subchapter, means any of the following: snow and/or ice removal from streets and sidewalks; rubbish removal; the mowing or eradication of noxious weeds or other grasses and growth; the abatement, removal or elimination of any nuisance as defined by law or other provisions of city code; the elimination of hazardous buildings; installation or repair of any utility service lines; street sprinkling, flushing, oiling or other dust treatment; repair of sidewalks and alleys; trimming and care of trees, and removal of unsounds, diseased or insect infected trees from any property; the operation of a street lighting system; the improvement and maintenance costs or a sidewalk improvement or storm sewer district; the charges for any city utility service or costs related thereto; or any other cost or charge related to the provision of a service to or charges against real property or the occupants thereof where the assessment thereof to benefitting private property is allowable by law, Charter or city code.
