The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has in KRS 151.230 delegated to local government units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the legislative body of the city of Ludlow, Kentucky, hereby adopts the following floodplain management chapter, as follows.
