(a) No person shall recklessly sell any deadly weapon or other weapon to anyone who is under eighteen (18) years of age.
(b) Definitions:
(1) “Deadly weapon” means any instrument, device, or thing capable of inflicting death, and designed or specifically adapted for use as a weapon, or possessed, carried, or used as a weapon.
(2) “Other weapons” means any BB gun, air gun, firearm, sling, bow and arrow, crossbow, or similar device.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a felony to be prosecuted under appropriate state law if the weapon is a firearm, handgun, or dangerous ordinance. If the weapon is an other weapon as defined herein, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree.
