(a) No building or premises shall be erected, structurally altered, or used for any other purposes except as herein provided:
(1) Public Uses and Quasi-public uses
(2) Community Garages
(3) Clinics
(4) Nurseries, Nursing Homes, provided the building or premises is not a ground level unit facing Main Street
(5) Professional activities
(6) Retail business activities
(7) Public service facilities
(8) Veterinary animal hospitals
(9) Public garages or service stations, provided the following conditions are met:
A. No repair facilities are maintained on the front portion of the lot or in the front portion of the first story of the building within fifty feet of the street.
B. No entrance or exit shall be within 100 feet of a residence district or within 200 feet of any school, public playground, church, public library, or institution for dependents or for children, except where such property is on or across an intersecting street in which the lot in question does not abut.
(10) Accessory uses customarily incidental to the above uses
(11) Essential services customarily provided for the above uses
(12) Agricultural uses may be permitted in a "D Commercial" District as a conditional use, requiring prior approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals.
(b) Ground level units in "D" Commercial District, facing Main Street, shall not be used as the following:
(1) Single family dwellings
(2) Two family dwellings
(3) Multi family dwellings
(4) Hotels, motels, apartment hotels, and rooming houses.
