(a) Upon any street, alley, or other roadway within the Village designated as "No Through Trucks," no person shall drive or operate any vehicle designed and/or used to carry property wherein the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), as defined above, for such vehicle is in excess of six (6) tons, whether loaded or unloaded, provided, however, that if such vehicle is to deliver or remove property from any place located on such route, then the vehicle may be driven or operated, but only between such place where the property is to be delivered to or removed from and the nearest intersecting route which is not so designated.
(b) Upon any street, alley, or other roadway within the Village designated as "No Through Trucks," no person shall drive or operate any combination of vehicles designed and/or used to carry property wherein the gross combination rating (GCWR), as defined above, for such vehicle is in excess of six (6) tons, whether loaded or unloaded, provided, however, that if such combination of vehicles is to deliver or remove property from any place located on such route, then the combination vehicle may be driven or operated, but only between such place where the property is to be delivered to or removed from and the nearest intersecting route which is not so designated.
