Failure of the Building Inspector or any official or public employee of the Village to observe or recognize hazardous conditions or to recommend corrective measures shall not relieve the landowner or operator from liability for the condition or for injury to persons or property resulting therefrom. The issuance or denial of a logging permit or any action by the Village under this chapter shall not create in the Village, its officers, agents or employees any liability or responsibility for injury to persons or property caused by or related to such action. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to relieve the landowner or operator from liability for injury to persons or property. (Ord. 3940. Passed 6-13-18.)
