No person shall park a truck, trailer, semitrailer or any construction equipment on any street for any purpose other than loading and unloading or when actual construction or maintenance activity is being conducted. However, trucks commonly used for passenger transportation and that are or resemble what is commonly referred to as a Pickup Truck with a manufacturer’s nominal rated capacity of one ton or less are exempt from the provisions of this section.
