(a) In this section "privately owned vehicle or motorcycle" means any vehicle or motorcycle not owned by the Village.
(b) No Village employee shall drive a privately owned vehicle or motorcycle while on Village business or while going to or coming from Village business without first having Council's approval.
(c) All employees driving any privately owned vehicle or motorcycle on Village business shall furnish Council with a certificate of insurance from an insurer prior to receiving Council's approval to drive on Village business.
(d) If for any reason any employee's vehicle or motorcycle insurance is no longer in existence, Council shall be notified by the employee and the insurer, and any permission Council has given to drive any privately owned vehicle or motorcycle on Village business shall be rescinded immediately.
(e) All certificates of insurance furnished by employees or their insurer shall be kept on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
