149.04 CHAIN OF COMMAND.

(a) The Fire Chief shall be in full command at all times in the efficient management of the Fire Department and its personnel and shall make such rules and regulations, and appoint such department heads within the Department as are provided herein. He shall prescribe their duties, in the management of the Department.

(b) The Assistant Fire Chief shall have the same duties as the Fire Chief, when the Fire Chief is not present. (Ord. 822. Passed 4-24-57.)
