(a) Title. This chapter shall be known as the “Authorized Occupancy Permit Requirement” for Residential Rental Properties, may be cited as such, and will be referred to herein as “this Code”.
(b) Purpose. The purpose of this Code is to provide for the issuance of an “Authorized Occupancy Permit” before any residential rental property may be rented or leased in the Village of Lowellville. It shall be unlawful for the owner of any single house or multiple dwelling unit, as defined herein, to rent or lease, unless said owner holds an Authorized Occupancy Permit issued by the Zoning Inspector for such premises.
