143.03 APPOINTMENT, TERM AND QUALIFICATIONS.

(a) The Tax Commissioner shall be appointed by the Village Clerk-Treasurer with the confirmation and approval of a majority of the members of Village Council for a one-year term, which shall commence annually on June 1.

(b) The Tax Commissioner shall be an elector of the Village.
