The fees for licenses and registration shall be paid at the time of the issuance thereof and shall be as follows:
(a) Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per year for each mechanically or electrically operated amusement devise up to and including fifteen such devises per amusement arcade. If the application is filed and the devices placed on exhibit after July 1, 1996, the fee shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) for the balance of the year for each mechanically or electrically operated amusement devises up to and including fifteen such devise per amusement arcade.
(b) No license and registration fee shall be charged for any mechanically or electrically operated amusement devises in excess of fifteen such devises, but less than thirty such devises, per amusement arcade.
(c) The fees for an amusement arcade shall be one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175.00) per year for each place of business. If the application is filed and the amusement arcade commences operation after July 1, 1996, the fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the balance of the year. Such fee shall be in addition to and independent of machine or exhibitors fees.
(d) No amusement arcade, nor any owner or exhibitor thereof, shall be permitted to maintain more than thirty mechanically or electrically operated amusement devises per amusement arcade. (Ord. 2832. Passed 2-14-96.)
