The following procedure shall be followed with respect to each vehicle inspection fee collected:
(A) A receipt for each inspection fee received shall be issued by the Police Department on a form prescribed by the State Board of accounts.
(B) Receipts shall be remitted to the Town Clerk-Treasurer at least once every seven days.
(C) The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall establish a fund separate and apart from the general fund to hold, invest and disburse the fee receipts which fund shall be designated as the vehicle inspection fund.
