§ 37.066 JURY DUTY.
Any employee of the town shall be granted leave to serve on a jury in any state, federal or local court, if the employee is scheduled to work at the time he or she is to serve on the jury. The employee shall be paid the difference between the compensation received for the jury duty and his or her usual wage for his or her regular work day. If, in the opinion of the employee's supervisor, serving or appearing by the employee will be detrimental to the public service, it will be the responsibility of the Town Attorney to seek an exemption from duty for the employee.
