In addition to any other duties imposed by state law, it shall be the duty of the City Manager:
(A) To act as chief conservator of the peace within the city;
(B) To supervise the administration of the affairs of the city;
(C) To see that the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state are enforced;
(D) To make such recommendations to the Council concerning the affairs of the city as may seem to him or her desirable;
(E) To keep the Council advised of the financial condition and future needs of the city;
(F) To prepare and submit to the Council such reports as may be required by that body; and
(G) To perform such other duties as may be required of him or her by ordinance or resolution of the Council.
