When a motor vehicle has been found to be a nuisance and has been removed by the city under this chapter, then:
(A) If the vehicle has been removed by a private towing operator acting as agent of the city, the vehicle may be disposed of in accordance with the provisions of G.S. Ch. 44A, Art. 1; or
(B) The city may sell such vehicle as a junked motor vehicle in accordance with the provisions of § 91.07 of this code of ordinances.
