§ 72.002  EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle in excess of the speeds listed below upon the streets or portions of streets of the state highway system listed in the designated traffic schedule hereby made a part hereof:
      (1)   Twenty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (2)   Twenty-five mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (3)   Thirty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (4)   Forty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (5)   Forty-five mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (6)   Fifty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V); and
      (7)   Fifty-five mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V).
   (B)   When signs are erected giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle in excess of the speeds listed below upon the streets or portions of streets not a part of the state highway system, listed in the designated traffic schedule, hereby made a part hereof:
      (1)   Twenty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (2)   Twenty-five mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (3)   Thirty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (4)   Forty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (5)   Forty-five mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V);
      (6)   Fifty mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V); and
      (7)   Fifteen mph (Ch. 76, Sch. V).
