Every person who is granted a peddler and hawker permit under the provisions of this chapter shall be required to file with the City Clerk a bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of Nebraska, running to the city, approved by the City Attorney, in the sum of $1,000, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the ordinances of the city, and the proper conduct of the business in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, and further conditioned for the payment to the person of any damages such person may suffer by reason of the improper conduct of the business.
