§ 70.024 RIGHT-OF-WAY; EMERGENCY VEHICLES.
   Upon the approach of any authorized emergency vehicle, every vehicle within one block of the route of the emergency vehicle shall immediately stop, except at the time they are on or crossing a street intersection, in which event, the vehicle shall drive clear of the street intersection and then stop. Every vehicle along the route of the emergency vehicle shall immediately move to a position as near the right hand curb as possible and remain there until such authorized emergency vehicle or vehicles have passed; provided, the vehicles are operated on official business and the drivers thereof make use of proper visual or audible signals.
