§ 39.240 PUBLICLY OWNED EV CHARGING STATIONS.
   (A)   For the purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply:
      EV. Electric vehicle.
      PRIVATE VEHICLE. Any vehicle which is not owned by Louisville Metro Government or its agencies and operated primarily for the furtherance of public business.
      PUBLICLY OWNED EV CHARGING STATION. Any EV charging station which is owned by Louisville Metro Government or its agencies.
   (B)   All publicly owned EV charging stations that are accessible to the public shall be equipped with a system that will charge the user for their use of the charging station.
   (C)   All publicly owned EV charging stations shall at a minimum charge the user the cost of the energy used in charging their vehicle plus any applicable transaction fees.
