(A) The LMPD will design and make available the reflective decals for the owner of the building upon registration on the Building Emergency Response Registry. The LMPD-issued reflective decals provide a visible marker that will allow LMPD and other emergency response personnel to quickly determine the height of tall buildings.
(B) Owners of buildings ten stories high and taller shall place the reflective decals in the eight corner windows on the tenth floor and every tenth floor thereafter. The reflective decals may be placed on the inside of the windows but must be visible from outside at street level. If the windows are tinted or the reflective decals are not clearly visible from street level, the decals shall be placed on the outside of the window.
