(A) Any Louisville Metro employee who knows or has reasonable cause to believe that a child is abused shall immediately cause an oral or written report to be made in compliance with KRS 620.030. If the child abuse concerns allegations against any Louisville Metro Police Department employee, the report shall also be made to the Department of Kentucky State Police, the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney, the Jefferson County Attorney's Office, or the Cabinet for Health and Family Services or its designated representative.
(B) Any Louisville Metro employee found to be in violation of this subsection may be disciplined, up to and including termination.
