§ 52.02 VANDALISM OF FIRE HYDRANTS, PUBLIC WATER FACILITIES, AND PUBLIC WATER FACILITY INFRASTRUCTURE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for anyone to vandalize a fire hydrant, intake well, well field, source water protection facility, water treatment facility, water reservoir, transmission main, distribution main, water storage facility, water pump station, valve, water meter, or any other water facility infrastructure used in the production or delivery of the public water supply anywhere within Louisville Metro.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to paint or in any other way deface or change the normal appearance of a fire hydrant, except to paint said hydrants in the normal course of preventive maintenance and in compliance with the directive of the Louisville Water Company and/or fire department or fire protection district having jurisdiction over said hydrants.
