§ 41.01 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have their given definition.

   BUILDING. Any structure owned, leased, or controlled by Metro Government.

   DEADLY WEAPON.

      (1)   Any weapon from which a projectile, readily capable of producing death or other serious physical injury, may be discharged or propelled;

      (2)   Any knife, other than an ordinary pocket knife, or hunting knife;

      (3)   Billy club, night stick, or other type of club;

      (4)   Black jack or slap jack;

      (5)   Nunchaku karate sticks;

      (6)   Shuriken or death star; or

      (7)   Artificial knuckles made from metal or other similar hard material.

   FIREARM. Any weapon which will expel a projectile by the action of an explosive.
