Upon completion and acceptance of a sanitary sewerage line extension, such sewerage line, whether on public or private property, shall become and remain the property of the Village. Where a sewerage line crosses private property, suitable easements must be granted to the Village to allow for maintenance, repair and reconstruction of the line. The owner shall guarantee the workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of acceptance of the work by the Village.
