It shall be unlawful for any owner, leasee or one in control of real estate abutting any street, road, alley or highway within the town to cut or fell trees or branches into said street, road, alley or highway, or permit dead limbs overhanging the same, or permit dead trees to stand on his or her real property near the same so as to endanger or obstruct the free use and travel thereon, or to kill a tree and leave it standing within 50 feet of the streets, roads, alleys or highways within the town.
