(A) The Recorder/Clerk is hereby appointed as the Floodplain Administrator and is vested with the responsibility, authority and means to implement the commitments made in the town’s agreement with the federal government to administer and implement this chapter by granting or denying floodplain development permits in accordance with its provisions.
(B) The Floodplain Administrator shall also be responsible for submitting all required reports to FEMA concerning the town’s participation in the National Flood Insurance Program.
