§ 110.07 LICENSE YEAR AND EXPIRATION; RENEWAL; PRORATING OF TAX.
   (A)   A license year shall begin on July 1 of each calendar year and shall expire with the expiration of the next ensuing June 30, and licenses shall expire at midnight on the last day of June subsequent to the date of issuance and shall be renewable annually, except such licenses for which the tax or fee is by the day, week, month or other period less than a year, and except as may be provided otherwise in this Title XI or other ordinance.
   (B)   The license tax or fee for an initial license upon the commencement of business shall be in proportion to the duration of such license to the annual tax or fees; provided, that no license for any purpose or any length of time shall be issued for less than $2. Any licensee may assign the expired term of his or her license to another by endorsement of the assignment by the licensee on the back of the license to the assignee, attested by the Town Recorder; provided, that such license shall not be transferred to any other person, firm or corporation except by authority of the Town Council.
