(a) There is hereby created in the Village the position of Village Street Commissioner.
(b) The Street Commissioner shall have the following duties: complete supervision of all roads, highways, bridges, sidewalks, sewers, drains, ditches, culverts, streams, watercourses, and street and traffic lights in the Village; control and assignment of personnel; be in charge of maintenance and repair of equipment; maintain inventories of equipment, materials, and supplies; and perform any and all other duties as may be assigned by Council.
