135.08 DEPUTY CLERK TO SERVE AS PREVAILING WAGE COORDINATOR.
   (a)   Applicable provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and Ohio law require municipal corporations to designate an officer to act as the Prevailing Wage Coordinator/Payroll Compliance Officer to monitor and enforce contractor payroll compliance with the Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5) and Ohio Revised Code Sections 4115.04 and 4115.05.
   (b)   Council hereby designates the Deputy Clerk of the Village to serve as Prevailing Wage Coordinator/Payroll Compliance Officer for all public works projects within the Village.
   (c)   The Village Prevailing Wage Coordinator/Payroll Compliance Officer shall monitor and periodically test and enforce contractors’ payroll compliance with applicable prevailing wage rate laws for public works projects within the Village.
   (d)   The Deputy Clerk shall receive no additional compensation for serving as Village Prevailing Wage Coordinator/Payroll Compliance Officer; that such duties shall be incorporated in and made a part of his duties generally as Deputy Clerk for the Village of Lordstown.
