135.09 ADMINISTRATION OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE.
   Council hereby establishes the following protocol and designates the following lines of authority to govern the administration of Certificates of Insurance procured by Contractors conducting business with the Village of Lordstown, to-wit:
   (a)   All Certificates of Insurance required under Contracts with the Village of Lordstown shall be procured from insurance companies qualified to conduct business within the State of Ohio and acceptable to the Village of Lordstown.
   (b)   All such Contracts shall not be effective until the Contractor procures and delivers copies of such Certificates of Insurance to the Village of Lordstown.
   (c)   The Clerk shall accept receipt of and maintain custody of the original Certificates of Insurance on behalf of the Village.
