Any construction involving a street opening or curb cut shall require the issuance of a “Street Opening/Curb Cut” Permit. Application for a Street Opening/Curb Cut Permit shall be made to the Street Commissioner prior to the commencement of any excavation for, or the construction of, any street or curb cut within the Village. Upon receipt of such application, the Street Commissioner shall determine if the excavation, construction or use of land for which the application is made, requires the issuance of a Street Opening/Curb Cut Permit, and where applicable, shall, within five days issue such permit and forward a copy of same to the Zoning Administrator.
