(a) A demolition permit is required for the demolition of any structure within the Village limits.
(b) Prior to issuance of the demolition permit, the following information must be presented:
(1) Written copy of verification from each of the utility companies: electric, gas, telephone and water that service has been disconnected at this location;
(2) Certificate of insurance from either owner or contractor that they have general liability insurance in the amount of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) including special coverage for demolition in an amount of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000);
(3) The cost of a demolition permit is twenty-five dollars ($25.00);
(4) The permit shall be issued within ten days of application.
