(a) "Exhibitor" means any person or their agent, owning, exhibiting, contracting for or permitting any electronically or mechanically operated device as defined in this section to be installed, used or operated in his/her place of business irrespective of the ownership of such device;
(b) "Electronically or mechanically operated device" means a machine which, upon the insertion or acceptance of a coin, slug, or paper currency or other medium, operates or may be operated for viewing images of a pornographic or obscene nature;
(c) "Adult book store" means any commercial establishment in which one of the primary functions is the sale or offering for sale or the rental of any material, book or publication, photographs, film or other medium that offers for viewing or permits the viewing of such medium which depicts nudity, sex, the use of children, animals or other pornographic or obscene material;
(d) "Adult theater or adult movie house" means any theater or other establishment which shows films rated X, NX-17 or any movie theater or adult theater which presents for public viewing adult films or adult performances or depicts for viewing the use of adults with children or any combination thereof or adults or children with animals or combination thereof depicting nudity, excretion or sexual conduct;
(e) "Commercial establishment" means any building which is designed to permit public viewing of film or other medium which depicts nudity, sexual conduct, excretion or use of animals by way of video units, mechanical or electrically operated and accepting coins, slugs, paper currency or other medium to operate it;
(f) "Owner" means any person having title, right of ownership, and/or possession of any such mechanical or electrically operated machines which depict pornographic or obscene material and/or the owner's agent;
(g) "Pornographic and/or obscene" means that material which appeals to the prurient interest and which has a tendency to excite lustful thoughts. Further being such material which is patently offensive to the prevailing or contemporary standards of the adult community in Lordstown;
(h) "Minor" is that person who is below the age of majority as currently defined by the Legislature of the State of Ohio.
