(a) No person shall take water from any public or private hydrant, plug, street washer, draw cock, hose, pipe or fountain basin which has been filled in whole or part from the Village waterworks, except by order of the Department of Utilities. No person shall use or take any water for private use which is furnished by the Village waterworks unless such person has first secured the usual permit from the Department of Utilities.
(b) No person, unless authorized by the Department of Utilities shall, except in time of fire, take water from the fire plugs or place or deposit any dirt or material in any such fire plugs or in the box or appendage connected thereto, or turn any public or private stop cock, or permit any act tending to obstruct the use thereof, or injure in any manner any building, machinery, pipe, apparatus or fixtures of the Village waterworks.
(c) No person shall injure, molest or interfere with, in any manner, any hose, fire engine, fire alarm, telegraph, fire alarm box or any wire or other appurtenances thereto, or with any other apparatus of the Fire Department or, without authority to do so use any such hose, fire engine or apparatus.
(d) No person shall injure, molest or interfere with any apparatus used by the Police Department for giving signals or calls, or with any automobile or other property used by the Police Department or, without authority to do so, use any such apparatus or property.
(e) No person shall unlawfully open or attempt to open or in any manner injure, deface or obstruct the use of or draw water from, any fire hydrant, or place or keep any obstruction, article or material of any kind in front of any such hydrant between the curb line and the center of the street or within five feet of either side of such hydrant.
(f) No person shall interfere, molest, injure or break or in any way mar or disfigure any street lamp or lamppost within the Village.
(g) No person shall injure, break, mar, disfigure or destroy any building, vehicle, automobile, truck, apparatus, electric wire, electric equipment, motors, transformers, water pumps, water mains or any other property of any description belonging to the Village.
(h) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
